Interior design color scheme affects directly the house’s aestheticism. Each color has own language and signification, good color will make the quality and happy life. You can apply these principles below to create the balance and harmony for your house.

Monochromatic

Only use one main color or different shades of the same color to resonate together. This color scheme is quite simple, so it’s difficult to create the highlight for space.
Monochromatic is often used in modern designs with minimalism and flat styles.

Analogous

Analogous (three adjacent colors) approaches well to the colors next to it on the color circle, so create elegant and attractive color schemes.
This color scheme is more colors than Monochromatic, so you can distinguish clearly the detail items in the room.

Complementary

Using pairs of symmetric colors on the color circle to create dynamic color pallets. This color scheme is easy to create highlight for the space.
Similar to Analogous, people will choose one main color, then they will find the symmetric color on the the color circle as the secondary color. When use this color scheme, don’t use the light colors because it will lose the contrast between the pairs of colors, which is the strength of this color scheme.

Triadic

This method is formed by combining three colors of three different angles on the color circle to make an equilateral triangle, bring the balance for the whole. This color scheme is the safe choice so it’s monotonous and lacking in innovation.

Split – Complementary

This method is flexible to choose color, so it’s easy to impress to viewers.

Rectangular Tetradic

It’s the most complex method in 6 color schemes.
Using two complementary directly pairs ọn color circle. This opposition and complementariness between two pairs are the highlight and distinctive feature of this color scheme. The pairs of colors in this color scheme are difficult to combine, so you spend a lot of time to choose colors.
