The location of Serena Pool Bar

The work made from bamboo – natural material, very close and friendly to environment. Only a small architecture in Serena Hotspring Resort projects (Kim Boi district, Hoa Binh province) but Pool Bar architecture contribute to create the charm for overall structure.

Architecture’s structure

The name of the architecture is Pool Bar because it was located next to outdoor swimming pool, where swimmers can be served beverage from bar.
The work’s scale is not large, just a conical roof top. The roof’s diameter is about 11m, but invested technical aspects and shapes carefully, so it bring a lot of emotions for the audiences. The iron and bamboo structure pushed the roof away from the bar about 2.6m to protect the people who sit around the bar from sunshine and rain. The combination of curved iron and traight bamboo is the main shaping element.
According to the architects, in this work, shaping thought based on parametric design – the new epoch-making trend. The bamboo slats were arranged according to the shaped law based on modern mathematics by BambuBuild’s architects, according to 3d grafich. Despite complex outlines but everything was obeyed the rule, the shaped elements are interconnected and interdependent, display the adherence between tradition of material and modernity of shaped language.

The bamboo architecture created the romantic images very suitable for general context, meets the functions without breaking landscape.
From the outside, this bamboo project with thatched roof is in harmony with anothers, graceful yet humble to honor the beauty of surrounding nature. From within, the curve soft shape of the work created strange angel of sights outside.
